"Leisurely Stroll"

Brayley decided to take a stroller ride with Addyson in this fun double stroller (thanks to Nana Punkin! ) this afternoon. They were both really enjoying it until "Gaga" took over. Brandon turned this leisurely stroll into an action packed roller coaster ride. With wheelies, speed and twists and turns, they were cackling the entire time!! How will I ever get them to settle for a relaxing ride now?

"Patience"

On our way to "school" today, our sweet little boy was talking his normal jabber. When we got behind a car going unusually slow I commented aloud "What are you doing" to the leisurely driver. Brayley then replies to me "What's wrong, mommy?" I explained that the car was going too slow. This smart little boy informs me that "...it will be OK! Just be patience!" As I gleamed at his intelligence and began to turn from behind the creeping car, he again assures me "See, I told you, you just have to be patience!" Even though the grammatical tense of his 'grown-up' word is incorrect, I still consider him a baby genius! ;-)

Our New Addition

Even though Brandon and I are anti-cat, we recently adopted one into our family. While it is fuzzy and cuddly at this stage of it's life, we hope it will grow to be a rodent warrior and become protector of the Smith home! ;-) Until that happens, the kids (and Brandon) are enjoying it being the playful kitten that it is. It's name is Little Bear... and Cat, and Kitty, and Silly Willy and whatever else Brayley may decide to name it that day. We are certain of one thing, if the little thing survives our 1 and 3 year olds it will be a warrior for sure!

We lucked up and ran into the Easter Bunny himself at a local shop in our hometown! Addyson was intrigued by his hairy face but her enthusiasm for sitting in his lap ended in about 40 seconds!!
